New here? Here is what Lexlegis.ai does.

Three products you can use directly, or integrate behind your interface. All grounded in a curated legal corpus, refreshed weekly. We are a substrate partner, not a competitor.

01.

Ask

Verified legal Q&A as a product feature.

Drop verified legal answers into your product via API. Every response cited to the actual law, with no hallucination. Your users get the answer; you get the feature.

02.

Interact

A reading engine behind your workflows.

Contract extraction, redlining, comparison, e-discovery, playbook enforcement — as a substrate behind your UI. You ship the workflow; we ship the legal reading.

03.

Draft

Drafting output your product can offer.

DPDP / GDPR-aligned drafting your product can surface to its users. Customisable to each customer's house style. Compliance documentation ready for procurement.

What we hear from product teams

Three gaps every legal-tech roadmap.

Building a useful legal product without a domain expert is hard. Doing it without a curated corpus is harder. Doing both without slipping the launch is the real ask.

Gap 01

Training data quality.

2 million labelled legal documents would take a year to source. The product launch is in four months. The wrong corpus ships a wrong product.

Gap 02

Domain expertise scarcity.

Building a CLM workflow for banking? You need someone who has actually read a hundred banking contracts. Hard to hire, harder to keep.

Gap 03

Regulatory positioning.

DPDP, GDPR, IT Rules, sectoral. Your SaaS lives or dies on data handling defensibility — not on more features.

What Changes

Three products. Productisable substrate.

Ask for verified legal answers your end users can trust. Interact as the document-interrogation layer behind your CLM or e-discovery feature. Draft for the in-app output your users expect.

Ask

Verified Q&A for your users.

Plug verified legal research into your product. Every answer cited, every source from a curated corpus. Stop competing with a hallucination engine.

Interact

Document layer for your CLM.

Contract extraction, redlining, comparison, playbook enforcement — as a layer behind your UI. You ship the workflow; we ship the legal reading.

Draft

Compliant output, ready to ship.

DPDP / GDPR-aligned data flows. Drafting output your users can rely on. The compliance edge competitors do not have.

From Live Engagements

Four engagements, worked through Legal AID.

Drawn from legal-tech product teams using Lexlegis.ai as the substrate.

UC-11.1 · Data

Training data curation.

Legal AI startup needs 2 million labelled legal documents for model training — without spending a year building the corpus from scratch.

UC-11.2 · CLM

CLM workflow design.

CLM vendor building industry-specific workflows for banking clients gets domain-expert review and the legal reading layer.

UC-11.3 · Chatbot

Legal chatbot engineering.

Insurance company rolling out a claims guidance chatbot to customers gets verified legal answers as the substrate.

UC-11.4 · Compliance

Regulatory compliance for software.

SaaS legal-tech product needs DPDP and GDPR compliance for EU plus India launch — reviewed and documented for procurement.

What we believe
“Legal-tech is not won by UI. It is won by what is true behind the answer. The substrate is the product.”
— Lexlegis.ai engineering charter

Curated legal corpus, retrieval-first reasoning, verification before output. Embeddable into your product or accessed via API on request. We are a substrate partner, not a competitor.

Common questions

For product, engineering & compliance leads.

Can we embed Ask / Interact / Draft into our product?

Yes — via API on request. Partnership terms vary by use case. Talk to us about your roadmap and we will scope the right engagement.

How do you handle our customers' data?

Customer data does not train any shared model. SaaS uses Indian residency. For sensitive customer data, deploy to your VPC, on-prem, or air-gapped.

Will our product be defensible under DPDP & GDPR?

The substrate is built for both. We will hand you the data-flow documentation, DPA, and the compliance posture your procurement teams will ask for.

Are you also a competitor?

We are a platform for end-customer legal work. Most legal-tech vendors are vertical or workflow-focused. Plenty of overlap is complementary; we discuss this honestly upfront.
